Hot Springs

From the Los Nevados Park, the waters that bathe the coffee plantations sprout and there are also hot springs that are used for recreational and therapeutic purposes. Due to the mineral content of these waters and their high temperature, they are used for medical, aesthetic and relaxing treatments.

In the Gallinazo de Manizales village along the old road to Nevado de Ruiz, there are several swimming pools and recreational centers with hot springs as the main attraction. Among them are: Termales del Ruiz, Termales del Otoño, the Tierra Viva thermal recreational park, Hacienda La Quinta and the mountain aquapark.

Water from the springs in the ‘’Nevados’’ park is used to irrigate the coffee plantations, and there are also natural hot springs used for recreational and therapeutic purposes. Due to the high mineral content, and temperature, these waters are used for medicinal and spa treatments.

At “Vereda Gallinazo”, in Manizales, along the old road to the snow-capped ‘’El Ruiz’’, there are several pools, and recreational facilities with thermal waters as their main attraction. Among them: Termales del Ruiz, Termales del Otoño, Termales Tierra Viva Recreational Park, Hacienda La Quinta and Acuaparque La Montaña.
